Beneath this lies a zoned middle layer offering customized pressure relief, including a dedicated heel soft foam section to protect vulnerable areas. A firm foam base prevents sagging, while full-length firm side rails maintain shape and prevent patient rolling. Optional raised side rails feature ingress/egress cutouts to enhance safety and mobility.
