The Rifton Support Station brings new dignity, convenience and possibilities to hygiene care for people with disabilities.

With the Support Station, even partially weight-bearing individuals can undergo hygiene care or a diaper change in an upright position - making the process more dignified, improving access to clothing and skin, and eliminating heavy lifting on the part of the caregiver.

With the Support Station, clients can assist in the sit-to-stand transfer, using their own strength and skills to participate in their care. Over time, adolescents and adults using the Support Station can actually improve their standing and toileting skills - paving the way for greater independence and better health.

Install the Rifton Support Station to use with a rolling commode or as a transfer aid to a stationary toilet.

• Ergonomic arm prompts - Hand slots,elbow curves, and optional handholds on the padded trunk board enable self-assisted transfers from a wheelchair - even for users with limited hand control.
• Upright is better - After a simple transfer, even a large, non-weight-bearing client is in a comfortable, more dignified and accessible position for hygiene care.
• Adjustable height and tilt - The height and angle of the trunk board can be adjusted to accommodate a wide range of users with varying degrees of weight-bearing ability.
• Choose a pivot or fixed design - Without the kneeboard, the Support Station can pivot over a fixed toilet; with the kneeboard in place, it's ideal for use with a rolling commode.
• Easy to clean - The Support Station's frame and upholstery include antimicrobial materials and are designed for thorough, easy cleaning.
• Fold for storage - The support station folds up flat against the wall when not in use.

The Support Station enables even large, partially weight bearing clients to meet toileting needs with dignity and convenience. The client assists in the sit-to-stand transfer using hand slots, elbow curves and optional handholds. When upright, the client's torso rests comfortably on the padded trunk board; minimal weight bearing occurs through the legs. Using the support strap for additional security, the caregiver can easily adjust clothing for toileting. With regular use of the Support Station, client strength may improve for increased independence in transfer.
