Move between floors without planning around a separate machine room or overhead clearance. The AmeriGlide Hercules Hybrid VPL is designed for residential and commercial use, with a compact layout that fits its mechanisms between the rails in the hoistway.
Use it to connect the levels of a home or commercial space where conventional elevator requirements may not be practical. Straight-through access is standard, with alternative entry layouts available to suit your floor plan.
- Room for your load: The lift carries up to 750 lb, and its winding drum drive travels at 24 FPM with ultra-quiet operation.
- Battery operation: It charges from a standard 120V circuit when not in use and is designed to support multiple trips during a power outage.
- Platform choices: The standard platform measures 34"–36" W x 54"–60" L; custom sizes range from 30"–42" W x 46"–66" L.
- Entry options: Choose standard straight-through access, same-side entry and exit, or 90-degree adjacent access.
- Floor coverage: Standard lift height is 156", with a listed maximum of 375"; up to five stops are supported. The product is described as capable of heights up to 433".
- Installation and controls: A shaft installation is required, and the lift arrives unassembled. It includes an alarm button and does not use constant-pressure platform controls.
For commercial installations, the lift height is limited to 168" without a variance from the AHJ (Authority Having Jurisdiction). Review project requirements before selecting it for a commercial application above that limit.
