Instead of requiring the user to move into a separate stair chair, the Atlas allows them to remain seated in their own wheelchair while being transported up or down straight staircases.

The Atlas helps eliminate the need for a wheelchair-to-stair-chair transfer. The wheelchair rolls directly onto the lift platform and is secured using built-in wheelchair frame clasps, wheel supports, and safety restraints before stair travel begins.
