The Prius Healthcare Enhance RDX Mattress System delivers active alternating pressure therapy designed to prevent and heal pressure ulcers in Stage 1 through Stage 4 classification scenarios. Engineered with an 8-inch profile, the unit utilizes a cell-in-cell architecture combining 4.5 inches of therapeutic air bladders with 3.5 inches of static air supports. This configuration ensures continuous redistribution of body weight even during electrical failure, as the static cells maintain inflation indefinitely.
This healthcare mattress accommodates patients up to 350 lbs within an 80 inch by 36 inch footprint. Construction features a black polyester base with PVC coating for infection control, topped with blue nylon and PU coated covers to reduce friction-induced shearing. Targeted lower foot end cells provide specific offloading for the heel area, a critical zone for skin breakdown.
The Master Control Unit measures 10.1 inches in length and operates on 110-120 volts with pressure settings adjustable between 12 and 47 mmHg. Users benefit from visual and audio low pressure alarms alongside 10-minute alternation cycles.
